This grassroots movement has compounded, and we’re starting to see organizations form to support our artistic endeavors. This year, we saw the uprising of a new arts organization, Northeast Wisconsin Arts Association, or NEWAA. Jean Detjen, the founder and executive director, formed the organization this year to continue the progress we’ve already made.
