dynamic and meaningful opportunities for expression, visibility,
and collaboration. In doing so, artists and their work are uplifted,
a light shines on the broader arts community, and quality of life
is improved for all via memorable experiences of real human
connection through art.
Jean holds a BA in American Studies from the University of
Notre Dame (USA & London, UK) with an emphasis in Fine Arts,
Journalism/Communications, and Social Sciences.
Her wide-ranging skills span Arts & Culture Promotion,
Marketing & Communications, Public Relations, Social Media,
Event Planning, Art Exhibition Curation, Arts Advocacy, Modeling,
Acting, On-Air Talent, Freelance Writing, and Poetry.
Jean's work experience in the arts includes Founding and Directing the Fox Cities' Take Me to the River traveling pop-up art gallery; working as an International Artist Representative and Fine Art Curator; serving as Vice President of Arts, Culture & Music for Launch Wisconsin; writing and producing the Artful Living column for Scene Newspaper (feature projects: Foxy Finds, Wisconsin Brewing Company Live Music Series); wearing many hats as a 'First Miler' core team member with Mile of Music where she especially enjoyed serving on the Artist Recruitment Team (ART). Jean also serves as a Placemaking Team Member with Creative Appleton Downtown, Inc. in her hometown.
