We will be kicking off YAM (Youth Art Month is April) on Tuesday, March 27th by showing off the paintings the high school students worked on, inspired by Cristian's style of painting.

H'ordeuvres sponsored in part by Wildflower Pizzeria. Musical talent brought to you by the fantastic library-lovin' Christopher Gold.

Can't make this reception? Cristian's art and the Kimberly High School painting class art will be displayed at our Kimberly location through the end of April.

Appleton Downtown

NEWAA is partnering with Creative Downtown for an Avant Garde Fashion Challenge happening in conjunction with the annual Spring Fashion Show on Saturday, April 14th from 9am-noon. Show location TBA.

This challenge (similar to Project Runway…but Appleton-ized), is now accepting application submissions. We are seeking fashion designs inspired by Downtown. The first round of applications are due by March 23 and include a design sketch/concept. From there we will be selecting the Top 8 submissions to create their look and walk the runway on April 14! The looks can be made out of any material – you are not limited to fabric. The Top 8 then have the chance to win the grand prize of $500 (selected by a panel of judges the day of) and $100 People’s Choice Prize (chosen by fashion show attendees).

May the downtown urban landscape inspire your creativity... see you on the runway, all you downtown lovers, artists, and fashionistas!
